Smart people use Vesconite bearings, smarter people ask for advice.
The people who ran the project are pretty smart. They used 316 stainless steel sleeves on the 5" shafts, a clean water
feed to each bearing and Vesconite bearings which were chosen instead of laminates or elastomers on the basis of load
capacity and wear life.
When a rebuild project costs hundreds of thousands and takes months of planning before you start, you don't want to
do it again under warranty.
