The Container ship was in dock for repairs on her propeller and prop shaft. The Vessel usually sails between Hamburg and Iran. The yard had difficulties removing the shaft and this took a long time. The rudder bearing needed replacing and was therefore ordered in advance.

Vesconite was advised. The yard enjoys the easy machining properties and the reputation of the material.
