This vessel, seen in the picture while being towed after an engine failure some years ago, has been fitted with Vesconite rudder bearings.

The original yard supplied nylon bushes which caused the rudder to seize after lengthy immersion in water. This of course could not be tolerated, especially when the vessel had its nets overboard.
