A user of log handling machines found that because of the environment in which the machines operate, conventional bronze bushes were not giving a satisfactory wear life.

The bronze bushes were replaced by Vesconite bushes (OD 122 mm x ID 34 mm)(OD 4.8" x ID 1.3") which now give them an excellent lifespan.

The change to Vesconite resulted in the following improvements:

• Reduced lubrication
• Extended life
