VescoPlastics, manufacturer of low friction long life bearing materials, decided to pursue ISO 9000 to establish a greater assurance with our customers that the materials and bearing components that we manufacture will be consistent in properties and size.

Initially the company pursued the ISO 9002 (1994 revision), but due to this code being phased out, the company changed to the ISO 9001 2000 revision.

VescoPlastics has always taken steps to ensure that Vesconite is manufactured according to strict manufacturing standards to ensure that bushes and bearings produced give the long life bearing and wear properties desired by customers. VescoPlastics keeps in regular contact with customers to ensure that customers are aware of new developments and that customer requirements are met where possible. This is an important requirement of ISO 9001:2000.
