  • HIGH LOAD BEARING CAPACITY OF VESCONITE BUSHINGS

This heavy duty application requires a material which has high load carrying capacity, low friction, high wear resistance and good dimensional stability. Vesconite combines all these characteristics. The Vesconite bush has a flange 205 mm (8.07") diameter and a bore of 165 mm (6.5"). It is fitted to the walking beam centre pivot bearing that equalises component parts of the rear axle bogies. The trailers are used to transport general purpose containers 12 m (39') long with a 66 m3 (2332 ft3) capacity and a gross mass of 30,5 tons.

  • VESCONITE BEARINGS FITTED TO FLAP VALVE OF CONCRETE PUMP

Vesconite bushings were fitted to the front and rear pivots of the flap valve shaft on a concrete pumping truck. The OEM bushings suffered from rapid wear due to the gritty conditions associated with this application. Vesconite bushings were fitted and require no lubrication. The bushings perform well, despite the contamination with dirt and grit.

  • VESCONITE BEARINGS WORKING WELL ON GARBAGE TRUCKS

Vesconite has been used successfully in a number of applications within the waste industry. Not only does Vesconite perform well in the dirty conditions associated with this application, but it also greatly reduces wear on the mating surfaces, allowing shafts and pins to be reused and saving considerably on costs. Typical applications include side bin lifter arm pivot bushings, front loader arm bushings, skip lift truck lower pivot bushings and guide rollers.
